Refractive Surgery, LASIK and Implantable Contact Lens

Refractive Eye Surgeries Offered

LASIK Surgery

LASIK surgery is a surgical procedure that reshapes the cornea, correcting refractive eye errors like myopia (short-sightedness), hyperopia (long-sightedness), astigmatism, and presbyopia. It has gained tremendous popularity and is currently the most commonly performed refractive procedure due to its high success rate, rapid visual recovery, and extremely low risk.

iLASIK Surgery

iLASIK surgery uses bladeless, wavefront-guided LASIK to correct vision and unique imperfections of the eye (higher order aberrations). These higher order aberrations cannot be corrected with glasses, contact lenses, or conventional LASIK surgery. iLASIK surgery uses a combination of wavefront-guided LASIK and IntraLase® technology.

LASEK/EpiLASIK surgery is a laser refractive surgical procedure that alters the shape of the cornea by lasering its surface, without the creation of a cornea flap. It is an alternative to LASIK surgery for patients with thin corneas or who are unsuitable for LASIK surgery.

Implantable Contact Lens (ICL)

ICL can correct a wide range of refractive errors. It is recommended for patients with high refractive errors (e.g. those above 900 degrees) or patients who are not suitable for LASIK due to high degrees or very thin corneas.
